Here is a little about us:
The owner of the company, Tim McMahan, started in 1981. The McMahan name, however, has been synonymous with theatre seating since the late 1940’s, after World War II. The three McMahan Boys, Bill, Norman and Duke, started a theatre chair service company, which lasted until the early 1960’s, when the boys split up.
Norman and Duke moved to Northern California to set up shop. Bill and his two sons, Ken and Tim, started Consolidated Seating and stayed in Los Angeles.
In 1981, Tim went out on his own to start California Seating and Repair Company. Thirty years later, we are still going strong. Everyday, another satisfied customer!
From large multiplexes to home theaters, we have customers all over the world. We are one of the only companies that can handle all of your seating needs. Sales, rentals, installation and refurbishing… it’s all done by our people. Now that’s quality control!
